Mustache You A Question

Had to show off the sweet mustache of 2013

A moustache (US /ˈmʌstæʃ/ or UK /məˈstɑːʃ/; American English: mustache)[1] is facial hair grown on the upper lip. Moustaches can be groomed by trimming and styling with a type of pomade called moustache wax.

Notable moustaches

The longest moustache measures 4.29 m (14 ft) and belongs to Ram Singh Chauhan (India). It was measured on the set of Lo Show dei Record in Rome, Italy, on 4 March 2010.

In some cases, the moustaches are so prominently identified with a single individual that it could be identified with him without any further identifying traits, such as in the case of Adolf Hitler. In some cases, such as with Groucho Marx and Charlie Chaplin, the moustache in question was artificial for most of their lives. Kaiser Wilhelm II‘s moustache, grossly exaggerated, featured prominently in Triple Entente propaganda.

RIP: Laura Scourfield 12/21/12

Laura has been given her wings and it’s official, she is an angel.
Laura Scourfield

Growing up I had the opportunity to meet an amazing person named Laura Scourfield. Laura was so smart that even though she was a couple years younger then me she was in most of my classes in 8th grade. When I first met Laura we started talking about computers and computer hacking – right away I was instantly intrigued by a female that enjoyed talking about hacking into computers.  From there on we became good friends – in the picture above Laura & my best buddy O’brian are hanging out in my messy bedroom.

Sadly, Laura Scourfield passed away on December 21st, 2012. Unknown to me, Laura had been sick for the prior year and from what I was told she is no longer suffering and is now flying high above Kenya.  Laura was an amazing person and is someone I will always have fond memories of. I wish the best for Laura’s family!

Here is here obituary that was in the paper:

STAYTON – Laura has been given her wings and it is official, she is an angel.

Laura grew up and graduated from high school in Stayton, Oregon. While attending University of Oregon, Laura traveled to Africa as part of an International Studies Program. Her experience there confirmed her passion for travel and working with children. After graduation, Laura found great satisfaction in her work at various wineries in the Eugene area.

She is survived by mother: Karen (Joel) Jordan of Stayton; father: Tom (Lisa) Scourfield of Redmond; grandmother: Sylvia Scourfield of Portland; sister: Kimberly Scourfield of Las Vegas, NV.; step-siblings: Craig Jordan of Forest Grove; Katelin Jordan of Bend and Ryan (Kristy) Payne of Portland.

Celebration of Life will be Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Anthony Hall in Sublimity.

Laura’s family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses who so lovingly cared for her at Oregon Health and Science University.

Contributions may be made in her name to the OHSU Center for Hematologic Malignancies.

Laura will forever be remembered as a gentle and loving “old soul” who was years beyond her age. She is happily flying over the mountains of Kenya!
